Karel Gott (born July 14, 1939) is a Czech Schlager singer, as well as an amateur painter. Gott, sometimes nicknamed The Golden Voice of Prague, has been voted the best male singer i.e. a winner of an annual national contest in Czechoslovakia or the Czech Republic (The Golden/Czech Nightingale), 35 times.
He sold over 30 million records and became one of the first multimillionaires in the socialist Czechoslovakia and gained fame in the German-speaking world, too. This releas include recods was made during the live performance at the Fstival "The Golden Orpheus" - Bulgaria on june 1972.
